Synopsis
A BBW in need of a date + Two hot Alphas looking for a mate = The hottest triad ever.
Talia Barca needs a date. Badly. She uses the services of the Paranormal Dating Agency hoping for a decent guy to take to a family wedding. A wedding her ex-husband has wormed his way into as a guest.
Connor and Theron want Tally to complete their Alpha triad. She's sexy, curvy and funny. But she's human. And they're not sure she'll go for a relationship with two men at the same time.
As if deciding to give two men a shot wasn’t difficult enough, Tally will also need to deal with a threat from the pack. She'll either prove she's strong enough to be an Alpha mate or find herself at the mercy of a vicious opponent.
Reader Warning: This book contains lots of scorching sex (including a threesome so hot it will make your ereader sizzle), adult language (hanky panky with no dirty talk is no fun), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with some sarcasm and two hot men on one curvy girl, then this is right up your alley. Enjoy! .
Review
Twice the Growl is book one in the Paranormal Dating Agency series, but each book is written as a standalone. There is a little teaser for the next book at the end, but I certainly would not consider it a cliffhanger. This is a fun, light, sexy read. I loved the instant chemistry between Tally, Theron, and Connor. This kind of instant chemistry really only works for me in paranormal books.
Poor Tally has had nothing but bad luck with men. This includes her jerk of an ex-husband who is oddly still loved by most of her family. Unfortunately he is invited to a wedding for one of Tally’s family members. Desperate to prove she’s not pining away for the ex, Tally enlists the help of her neighbor who runs a dating agency for shifters. Tally is more than a little surprised when she has not one, but two men show up as her escort and they are also the same men she was recently lusting after. Theron and Connor are very different in what they bring to the table in the relationship, but both definitely bring great sex. They have that hot devotion to her pleasure that we all want from the man in our life.
Overall this is a great read if you are looking for something fast and light. The only complaint I had was that I would have liked seeing more of their budding relationship. I felt some areas were cut short. This is sometimes the case in shorter romances. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a steamy romance. This is very light on the paranormal aspects so I think it would work well for those who enjoy contemporary erotic romance as well.

Review
This is book two in the Night Watchmen series, and I definitely recommend reading these in order. Let me begin by saying I’m not a big fan of the new trend of having books end with cliffhangers and storylines that span many books. There are, of course, exceptions. This series has enough substance and storyline to justify being written in several books.
Evernight starts off almost exactly where the first book left off. There is a little gap, but it’s easy to fill in what happened. Overall the story flowed really well and kept me hooked from page one until page “What? It can’t be over; I need more.” The only thing I didn’t like was how Gavin and Cassie seemed to behave much less mature than they had in the previous book. Some of their comments seemed more like things a young teen would say. They were not focused on through much of the book so it didn’t bother me too much. I really enjoyed the development of Faye’s character as she matured and learned to control her power. Things don’t run smoothly for her, and there were times when I was just wishing she’d get a break. It was also nice to learn more about Weldon and see his growth as a character. I am definitely looking forward to the next installment in this series.
